The large separated feathers at the ends of the wings remind me of fingers.
A friend encouraged me to create this blog because I had taken a lot of pictures of Turkey Vultures. I think they are fascinating as they soar,circle and float on air currents and environmentally dispose of toxic dead birds, animals etc.

Early evening shots in April of 2012
As the evening sun was setting, I loved the golden colors as the sun reflected off of some of the feathers on the underside of the wings.
